Message from Sr. Police Officers

Message from the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City

The Bengaluru City Police Traffic Warden Organisation (BCPTWO) stands as an inspiring example of civic responsibility, voluntary service, and public commitment in our city. For decades, Traffic Wardens have partnered with the Bengaluru City Police to enhance road safety, regulate traffic, support major events, and create awareness among citizens. Their presence has not only strengthened our operational capabilities but also built a vital bridge between the police and the community we serve.

As Bengaluru continues to grow, the challenges of urban mobility and road discipline demand collective effort. In this endeavour, the contribution of the Traffic Wardens—who selflessly devote their time, skill, and energy—is truly commendable. Their dedication reflects the spirit of public participation and shared responsibility that is essential for a safe and efficient city.

On the occasion of the launch of the newly developed website, I extend my sincere appreciation to every member of the Traffic Warden Organisation for their unwavering support and exemplary service. I also encourage more citizens to come forward, volunteer, and join this noble initiative that plays a meaningful role in shaping a better Bengaluru.

Together, let us continue to work towards a safer, more disciplined, and more responsible traffic environment for all

– Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS
Commissioner of Police, Bangalore

Message from the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Bengaluru City

The Bengaluru City Police Traffic Warden Organisation (BCPTWO) continues to stand as a vital pillar of community-driven traffic management and public service in our city. For over four decades, Traffic Wardens have exemplified the true spirit of volunteerism—dedicating their time, skill, and unwavering commitment to ensuring safer roads and smoother mobility for millions of citizens every day.

In an era of rapid urban growth and increasing mobility challenges, the role of our Traffic Wardens has become more important than ever. Their presence at key junctions, during special events, emergencies, and enforcement activities has significantly strengthened the efforts of the Bengaluru Traffic Police. Their professionalism, discipline, and public-spirited approach reflect the highest ideals of civic responsibility.

As Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), I place on record my appreciation for each and every Traffic Warden who contributes selflessly to this organisation. Your dedication not only enhances road safety but also inspires public confidence in our collective ability to manage the dynamic traffic environment of Bengaluru.

I urge all Wardens to continue embracing teamwork, courtesy, and continuous learning as core values of your service. Let us move forward together—police, volunteers, and citizens—to build a safer, more orderly, and more responsible traffic ecosystem for our city.

My best wishes to the BCP-Traffic Warden Organisation for their newly developed website and continued success in all its endeavours.
