Message from the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City
The Bengaluru City Police Traffic Warden Organisation (BCPTWO) stands as an inspiring example of civic responsibility, voluntary service, and public commitment in our city. For decades, Traffic Wardens have partnered with the Bengaluru City Police to enhance road safety, regulate traffic, support major events, and create awareness among citizens. Their presence has not only strengthened our operational capabilities but also built a vital bridge between the police and the community we serve.
As Bengaluru continues to grow, the challenges of urban mobility and road discipline demand collective effort. In this endeavour, the contribution of the Traffic Wardens—who selflessly devote their time, skill, and energy—is truly commendable. Their dedication reflects the spirit of public participation and shared responsibility that is essential for a safe and efficient city.
On the occasion of the launch of the newly developed website, I extend my sincere appreciation to every member of the Traffic Warden Organisation for their unwavering support and exemplary service. I also encourage more citizens to come forward, volunteer, and join this noble initiative that plays a meaningful role in shaping a better Bengaluru.
Together, let us continue to work towards a safer, more disciplined, and more responsible traffic environment for all
– Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS
Commissioner of Police, Bangalore
