Serving with Commitment, Leading with Purpose
Welcome to the Bengaluru City Police Traffic Warden Organisation. Established in 1985, our organisation has been a dedicated voluntary force assisting the Bengaluru City Traffic Police in managing the increasing traffic challenges of our rapidly growing city. With the surge in vehicle numbers, the support of committed citizen volunteers has been vital in ensuring smooth traffic flow, enhancing road safety, and educating the public on traffic rules. Our volunteers, drawn from diverse backgrounds including professionals, teachers, government employees, and businesspeople, share a common goal of serving the public and making Bengaluru’s roads safer for everyone. We work closely with the traffic police, taking part in daily traffic management duties as well as special events, festivals, and emergency situations. While we are an honorary force without statutory powers, our commitment and public cooperation enable us to make a positive impact on traffic discipline and awareness. I invite every responsible citizen who wishes to contribute to their community to join us. Together, we can create safer roads, reduce congestion, and build a culture of traffic responsibility in Bengaluru.
Thank you for your interest and support.
