Aims & Objectives

1. To raise awareness among road users about their responsibilities in following traffic rules.
2. To conduct road safety awareness programs, traffic education campaigns, and defensive driving training sessions in collaboration with the Bengaluru Traffic Police for the benefit of motorists, pedestrians, educational institutions, corporates, transport department personnel, the general public, and other road users.
3. To assist the Bengaluru Traffic Police in directing and regulating vehicular and pedestrian traffic upon request and regularly, as per the TWO Regulations.
4. To act as a bridge between the police and the public.
5. To gather or develop suggestions for traffic improvements and forward them to the appropriate authorities.
6. To report traffic violations personally observed by Traffic Wardens to the Bengaluru Traffic Police.
7. To report other offenses committed by taxi or auto-rickshaw drivers, such as refusal to accept passengers, demanding excess fare, etc., to the Bengaluru Traffic Police.
8. To support the Bengaluru Traffic Police in various activities, including organizing special drives and road safety awareness campaigns related to traffic regulation, control, and education.
9. To produce and distribute publicity materials such as handouts, posters, and booklets to promote traffic safety awareness among the public.
